Desserts Galore at Smoking Joe’s

Although Smoking Joe’s is a place for meat, their desserts are also delish – which is why a sweet tooth person like me loves to go there, and I did just that yesterday.

Ordered the lunch special beef ribs, only 59K++, slashed more than half from its original price of 180K++. But they make the portion less (of course!), from 3 racks to 2, and I can see they choose the less beefy ones too. But it was alright, suits the price. If I had paid 180K++, then I would Be raging with anger haha.

The highlight of the lunch was the desserts. There were 5 of us and we ordered 3 to be shared. Counting down to my fave dish, they are:

3. Molten Chocolate Souffle

Yummy, but since you can find this just about anywhere- if you could only have 1 choice, I’d suggest you skip this and choose among the other two on this list.

2. Apple Pie

I love Apple Pies and I always try to order it whenever it’s on the menu, and Smoking Joe’s got one of the better Apple Pies than others. The right mixture of sweet & sour, and the crust is good too!

And the #1 goes to.. *drumroll*

1. Tollhouse Cookie

Definitely my fave dessert of the house! Freshly baked soft chocolate cookie, accompanied with vanilla ice cream, coffee sauce, and vanilla sauce. So good, Wendy, one of the people I had lunch with, cursed me for introducing her to it. New sin, she said. LOL.

But seriously, if you love desserts and are looking for something new rather than the usual RVC or rainbow cake, this you have to try!
